Dominic Vincente, is eager to represent Guyana in the upcoming Commonwealth Games, expressing to Big Smith News Watch how significant it would be to wear the Golden Arrowhead during the event.

“Being part of the Commonwealth Games to me it would be great because it would the first time at a games of that nature for me. It is not something I would take for granted because representing Guyana is something I will always want to do,” Vincente conveyed.

“Some of the things would be about being in better condition, because the game is played faster and more physical, being more vocal and playing defense. These are things we learned at the camp and I have had to change my preparations because it would not just help me in 3×3 but also in 5×5,” he emphasized.

This marks a historic moment, as it will be the first time Guyana sends a basketball team to the Commonwealth Games, and Vincente is excited to be part of this milestone.
