Vice President Bharrat Jagdeo Leads Public Consultation at Arthur Chung Conference Center

Vice President Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo, along with a team of government ministers, is currently engaging with members of the public at the Arthur Chung Conference Center (ACCC) in Liliendaal.

 

Hundreds of citizens have gathered at the ACCC, eager to present their issues and concerns directly to the government officials.

 

The ministerial team includes: Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal, Minister within the Ministry of Housing, Susan Rodrigues, Minister of Agriculture, Zulfikar Mustapha, Minister of Natural Resources, Vickram Bharrat, Minister of Public Works, Juan Edghill, Mnister within the Ministry of Public Works Deodat Indar, Minister of Local Government Sonia Parag, Minister of Finance Dr Ashni Singh, Minister within the Office of the Prime Minister Kwame McCoy and other officials.

 

Some of the issues raised thus far include old age pension, housing concerns, mining and logging issues among others.

 

The event underscores the government’s commitment to addressing public concerns and improving transparency in governance.
