One arrested over cannabis seizure at Ogle Airport

Officers of the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) have intercepted a quantity of cannabis at the Eugene F. Correia International Airport, leading to the arrest of one man.
The interception occurred on Thursday, April 2, 2026, after CANU officers acted on intelligence and identified an outgoing parcel destined for Kamarang, Region Seven.
Upon inspection, the parcel was found to contain several bulky packages with a quantity of cannabis. Authorities confirmed that the narcotics weighed approximately 1.08 kilograms.
Moses Ally was subsequently arrested and escorted to CANU headquarters along with the suspected narcotics.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
