Two gunned down at Linden
Police have detained a suspect in connection with the gunning down of Johnson Bowen 87, and Manuel Do Santos, 20, at Block 22 Wismar Linden.
The killings occurred between 04:00 hrs and 04:15 hrs today, and were reportedly carried out by three individuals, two of whom were armed with guns.
Suspected gunshot injuries were observed on the bodies of both victims.
It is alleged that a scuffle ensued between the victims and attackers, during which the two were shot.
Police said a suspect has been detained but the motive for the killings is unclear.
