Sheriff Guyana proudly announces the establishment of Sheriff Construction Inc., marking a substantial expansion of its business portfolio.

Led by the dynamic partnership of serial investor Ameir Ahmad and his father, Shareef Ahmad, the company is poised to make a lasting impact on Guyana’s construction industry. Sheriff Construction Inc. has already taken a significant stride by acquiring 50 dump trucks, and an additional 50 trucks are anticipated to bolster its fleet by the close of 2024.

In addition, the company has secured four excavators and two cranes to fortify its operational capabilities.

This noteworthy investment underscores Sheriff Construction Inc.’s steadfast commitment to emerging as a prominent player in the construction sector. The company’s primary focus lies in civil construction, and it proudly boasts a team of highly skilled engineers and experts with extensive experience in the field. Leveraging their collective expertise, Sheriff Construction Inc. is well-prepared to undertake diverse construction projects, ranging from commercial buildings to comprehensive infrastructure development.

Managing Director Ameir Ahmad expressed the company’s overarching goal, stating, “One of our key objectives is to ensure that this company becomes synonymous with excellence and reliability in the construction industry. We are actively in the process of securing Local Content Certification and all other necessary certifications to align with international standards.”

Although officially incorporated in April 2023, the Sheriff Construction Inc. team has already amassed a commendable track record, successfully completing various projects over the past five years. Notable achievements include the construction of the Sheriff General Hospital in Leonora, the development of 25 luxury homes, and the construction of their three-story office building on Da Silva Street. Presently, the team is actively engaged in building the Sheriff Mall in Palmyra and two condominium complexes in the Richmondville Housing Scheme.

Sheriff Construction Inc. is characterized as a dynamic construction company in Guyana, dedicated to delivering top-tier civil construction projects. Emphasizing qualities such as quality, innovation, and sustainability, the company aims to contribute significantly to the country’s growth and development by providing exceptional construction solutions.
