Security Guard Robs Fantasy Casino of $13M Cash

A security guard is on the run after allegedly robbing the Fantasy Game Lounge at Giftland Mall of $13.1 million in the early hours of Sunday, June 22, 2025.

Police say the 24-year-old suspect, who was on duty and armed with a 9mm service pistol issued by Castle Security Services, turned his weapon on two employees and executed the brazen heist around 5:30 a.m.

According to investigators, the suspect confronted a 21-year-old supervisor and a female floor supervisor while they were cleaning the gaming area. He reportedly fired a shot into the air before forcing them into the cashier room, where he instructed the supervisor to empty the vault into a garbage bin.

The suspect then walked out of the building with the cash. Surveillance footage showed him leaving the Giftland access road, heading west along the Railway Embankment, and entering a car registered as PZZ 5690 before fleeing the scene.

A spent 9mm shell was recovered at the scene. Police later searched the suspect’s home but found no trace of the stolen money. He remains at large as investigations continue.
