Reg Three Residents benefit from Steel and Cement Voucher Distribution

More than 60 residents of Region Three on Tuesday received steel and cement vouchers to support the construction of their home foundations, as part of the Government’s ongoing housing assistance programme.

The vouchers were distributed by Ministers Collin Croal and Vanessa Benn along with the Bishram Kuppen, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Housing during an outreach activity in the region.

Several recipients expressed gratitude for the support, noting that the vouchers provide a critical start in purchasing building materials and advancing their home construction plans.

While the vouchers are primarily intended for the purchase of steel and cement, beneficiaries were informed that they may also be used to acquire other building materials, depending on the supplier where the vouchers are redeemed.

The initiative forms part of broader efforts by the Ministry of Housing to assist low- and middle-income families in progressing with home construction and improving living conditions across the country.
