The Government of Guyana, in collaboration with Lindsayca Oil & Gas Integrated Solutions Group, will host a two-day job fair aimed at recruiting approximately 1,000 workers for the Gas-to-Energy Project.

The job fair is scheduled for December 18 and 19, 2025, at the Leonora Track and Field Facility, Region Three. Activities on Day One will begin at 2:00 p.m., while Day Two will commence at 9:00 a.m.

The initiative is designed to provide employment opportunities and allow job seekers to explore career paths within one of Guyana’s largest infrastructure projects.

A wide range of positions will be available across several disciplines, including civil works, mechanical services, instrumentation, and electrical services.

Civil vacancies include carpenters, civil helpers, labourers, masons, plumbers, rebar workers, surveyors, and a range of heavy-duty equipment operators such as dump truck drivers, excavator operators, grader operators, crane operators, and paver finisher operators.

Mechanical positions include fitters, mechanics, welders, painters, sandblasters, insulation specialists, flagmen, and mechanical helpers, along with roller compactor and telehandler operators.

Opportunities will also be available in instrumentation and electrical services, including instrumentists, electrical technicians, and helpers in both fields.

Organisers are encouraging interested persons to attend the job fair and take advantage of the employment opportunities being created through the Gas-to-Energy Project.
