Two friends were killed in a crash on the Timehri Public Road, East Bank Demerara while another is hospitalised in a serious condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital.

Dead are 24 year old Pastal Dainty of Lot 1841 Unity Place, Festival City, North Ruimveldt and 32 year old Delon Whitehead of Lot 41 William Street Kitty. 25 year old Michael Kendal of lot 2214 Section C Block X Great Diamond East Bank Demerara was admitted a patient in the Intensive Care Unit of the GPHC.

BIG Smith News Watch was told that just after 20:00hrs on Saturday night, the car in which they were in, PXX 5192 was being driven at a fast rate by Dainty.

The young men were picked up by the police and public spirited persons and placed into an ambulance to seek medical attention.

They were all seen and examined by a doctor on duty who pronounced Delon Whitehead and Pastal Dainty dead on arrival.  Michael Kendal was treated and admitted.
