A suspect whose name was given as ‘Goadie man’ is presently in police custody while the remains of Nadina Kalamadeen, a 34 year old mother of five lay in the Georgetown Hospital Morgue.

The incident occurred in North Sophia. According to reports from the area the woman was stabbed multiple times about the body by the man who persons identified as an individual who was obsessed with the now dead woman.

According to what the BIG Smith Crime was told by residents who gathered at the Georgetown Public Hospital earlier this evening, the woman has been avoiding the man who has been showing up at her home repeatedly.

We were told that earlier on Wednesday, the suspect paid another visit to the woman who was asleep. The Big Smith Crime Watch was told that when the man arrived, the woman’s relatives refused to wake her up.

It is unclear what transpired later in the evening when he returned but the two were seen walking on the road.

Two young children told police detectives that they saw the woman walking in front and the man walking behind her where he was stabbing her to the back with what appeared to be a knife.

He then attempted to flee but was apprehended by a resident of the community and handed over to the police.

At the hospital diverse group of persons from the community gathered where they spoke highly of the woman and mostly stressed on how she would always ensure that her five young children are always provided for.
