Senior Superintendent Edmond Cooper has died, multiple sources within the Guyana Police Force have confirmed.

The senior policeman was not on full-active duty within the force since 2021 after falling ill.

Cooper was then hospitalised for a prolonged period having been in a coma. He then slowly began to recover.

Senior Superintendent Edmond Copper has served the Guyana Police Force in multiple capacities including Divisional Commander.

In November 2020, Mr. Cooper was called to the Local Bar having completed his legal studies in Guyana and Trinidad respectively.

BIG Smith News Watch extends condolences to the Wife, children, family, Guyana Police Force and friends of Senior Superintendent Edmond Cooper.
