The Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal, recently represented Guyana at the 15th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF) and the 10th China-LAC Infrastructure Cooperation Forum.

Both prestigious events were hosted concurrently by China’s Ministry of Commerce from June 19 to 21, 2024.

During the forums, Minister Croal highlighted key infrastructure development initiatives underway in Guyana.

His presentations underscored the government’s commitment to enhancing the country’s infrastructure landscape, aiming to boost economic growth and improve the quality of life for its citizens.

Minister Croal also took the opportunity to engage with international leaders and experts in the infrastructure sector.

These discussions focused on innovative infrastructure technologies and best practices, exploring potential collaborations and investments that could benefit Guyana’s development goals.

The participation of Minister Croal in these forums demonstrates Guyana’s proactive approach to infrastructure development and its eagerness to learn from and partner with global leaders in the field.
