Several persons today received house lots in the Plantation Vigilance Housing Scheme, East Coast Demerara, during the Ministry of Housing’s ‘Dream Realised’ Housing Drive being held alongside the International Building Expo 2026 at the National Stadium, Providence.

The allocations marked a significant step toward homeownership for beneficiaries eager to secure land and build their futures.

Minister of Housing and Water Collin Croal and Chief Executive Officer of the Central Housing and Planning Authority, Dr. Martin Pertab, were on hand to assist allottees as they received their allocations. Director of Operations Denise King-Tudor and other officials also participated in the exercise.

The Ministry said a follow-up allocation activity will be held as more land becomes available to accommodate additional applicants in the system.
