The Guyana National Stadium is buzzing with energy as the final touches are put in place for the International Building Expo 2025, set to run from August 14–17 at Providence, East Bank Demerara, under the inspiring theme “The Road to Success, Guyana 2030 and Beyond.”

This year’s edition promises to be bigger and better, with the “Dream Realised” housing initiative taking centre stage from August 15–17.

More than 2,000 land titles are expected to be processed, marking a major milestone for allottees eager to take the next step toward homeownership.

With approximately 400 booths, exhibitors from India, Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad, and beyond will showcase the latest in construction technology, creative home improvement solutions, and innovative designs.

Visitors can look forward to networking opportunities, expert advice, and nightly live entertainment—making the expo a perfect blend of business and leisure.

The Ministry of Housing and Water will also be on-site, offering convenient access to land ownership services for attendees.

Admission:

Thursday, August 14: Free entry from 5:00 PM–9:00 PM; regular fees apply from 9:01 PM–11:00 PM.

Friday to Sunday, August 15–17: Gates open from 11:00 AM–11:00 PM. Entry: $500 for adults and children aged 12+.

Tickets are available at the Ministry’s Headquarters and all Regional Housing Offices.

When the BIG Smith News Watch team visited the venue earlier today, the atmosphere was electric—hundreds of construction workers, managers, and exhibitors were hard at work, giving their booths the final polish for tomorrow’s grand opening.
