The casket of Dr. Roach (inset) being taken out of the church into a hearse

There was hardly a dry eye on Friday as a viewing for the body of Dr. Colin Roach was held in Georgetown.

Viewing and a church service took place at the Charlotte Street Wesleyan Church in Georgetown. It was an open casket viewing but with strict instructions for there no photographs to be taken of the doctor.

Showing up to pay final respects to the late doctor were persons from the medical, legal and other professional services.

Following the viewing, Dr. Roach’s would be prepared for a journey to Essequibo. His family has decided to lay him to rest in the quiet Cinderella County where he was born and raised.

The doctor was found dead in his office last week Tuesday with his face bashed. Two of his employees were taken into custody for questioning in relation to the matter but have since been released.

Two persons were charged with the murder of the doctor as the police continue their investigations into the murder of Dr.Roach.
