‘Chow Pow’ arrested after battering daughter in the streets

57-Year-Old Kirk Jardine also known as ‘Chow Pow’ was on Friday arrested by the police and placed into custody after he reportedly battered his 22-year-old daughter in the streets. The young lady has since made an official police report and provided a statement in relation to the encounter.

Aniyah Jardine of Greenheart Street, South Ruimveldt visited the East Ruimveldt Police Station to report against her ex-boyfriend.

While at the station, ‘Chow Pow’, Aniyah’s father, showed up at the station to enquire what the issue was and what matter she was reporting against her former boyfriend.

Aniyah, and her father although they live at the same address, are not on speaking terms and that has been the status quo for a while now. Given that fact, Aniyah refused to divulge any information to her father about the report she was at the station to make.

After she was finished giving her report against her ex-boyfriend, the young lady was walking down the road when ‘Chow Pow rolled up alongside her and ordered her to get into the vehicle and she refused.

‘Kirk ‘Chow Pow’ Jardine, reportedly got enraged, stopped his vehicle, exited, and scrambled his daughter. He then slammed her into the car and began cuffing her in the face and abdomen, he also reportedly attempted to dig his daughter’s eyes out by pressing his thumbs into them.

Aniyah began screaming for help and persons summoned the police who showed up at the scene and took ‘Chow Pow’ into custody while his daughter was escorted to the hospital for medical attention.

Visible injuries which she suffered according to police sources, included black and blue marks and bruises to her face and abdomen. Her eyes also appeared extremely red and were swollen from him pressing his thumbs in them.

Last year, ‘Chow Pow’ came out in support of Kitty Businessman Davenand Singh who was caught on camera battering his daughter. During his support for the businessman’s battering of his daughter, ‘Chow Pow’ said “A man is the head of his home’ and that the businessman’s daughter provoked him, and that caused him to react the way he did.
