BREAKING: Azruddin and Nizar Mohamed pending extradition to USA

December 10 2025

Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman has ruled that the extradition proceedings involving businessmen Nazar and Azruddin Mohamed will continue in the Magistrates’ Court.

This decision denies the duo’s request to have the matter transferred to the High Court for constitutional issues they raised to be addressed.

The businessmen are reportedly wanted in the United States on multiple charges unsealed on October 6, 2025, by a Grand Jury in the Southern District of Florida.

The extradition hearing is set to resume on January 6, 2026.

The Mohameds are required to continue reporting to the Police as per previous request.
