A 33-year-old businessman, Sudesh Ganesh of Lot 57 Leonora, West Coast Demerara, was fined $10,000 after pleading guilty to encumbering a public street.

Ganesh appeared before Magistrate C. Nurse at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, where the charge was read to him.
