The incident reportedly involved 31-year-old MP Deon LaCruz and his reputed wife at their residence.
According to police reports, an argument between the couple allegedly escalated into a physical confrontation. It is alleged that during the incident, a four-year-old child was assaulted, prompting the woman to intervene.
The woman further alleged that she was assaulted during the altercation and sustained injuries after being pushed to the ground, causing her to lose consciousness briefly.
