The police have commenced investigations into the death of a 17 year old Swan, Soesdyke Linden Highway resident Alex Daniels who was allegedly killed by his fellow villager, 24 year old Imran in the Northwest district.

The BIG Smith Crime Watch was told that the killing stemmed from an argument over a pair slippers.

According to what we were told, the two men were drinking along with other co-workers a few miles away from their mining camp.

On their way back to the mining camp, Imran reportedly took the slippers of Daniels and threw it away. The men got into an argument and that was quelled by co-workers.

However when the two arrived back at the camp the argument again came up and Imran armed himself with a knife and stabbed Daniels three times, causing him to fall to the ground where he died.

Imran was restrained by the other workers and handed over to the police who are carrying out their investigations into the matter.
