L-R: Youfie Bobb and William Montrose
Two men in their twenties from the village of Victoria, East Coast Demerara are now dead and another two are in serious conditions seeking medical attention.
Dead are 23 Year Old Youfie Eusi Bobb, a father one of Lot 51 Victoria and 26 Year old William Montrose of West, Sideline Dam, Victoria. Hospitalised in serious conditions are 25 Year Old Delec Skeete of Middle Walk Victoria and 19 Year Old Siani McFarlene whose address was only given as Victoria.

The venue of the party where the deadly ending started
The men were at the time attending a party hosted by a popular barber in the village. The party was titled “Barber Josh Construction Party Called BANK ON IT!” The admission to the party was GYD $500 and allowed the first fifty ladies, free entry.

On Sunday morning, this publication visited the village where we first stopped at the venue of the party before following blood trails and stains along the Victoria Main access road.
At the venue of the party, tables were tossed aside and the place looked as if patrons left in a hurry.
Along the road way, there were drops and spots of blood stains while in some sections, there was a high concentration of clotted blood which told the tale that injured or dead persons were removed from those spots
.

We visited the homes of both deceased, our first stop was at Lot 51 Victoria Road where we spoke to Eusi Bobb Snr., the father of Youfie Eusi Bobb.
The man said he left the home after midnight and his son was siting right there [as he pointed to a hammock] under the house.
“I got a call from someone saying they see Youfie running, I don’t know if he was running coming from the scene so I said I will leave it until day clean. I got a second call, the second call said that he was lying on the ground bleeding out. Someone chopped him with a hatchet” Youfie Eusi Bobb Senior, told BIG Smith News Watch.
The man said he still does not know the fullness of the story but was told that that his son was attacked and beaten but he could not say by how many persons.
Over at the home of William Montrose, we spoke with his mother, Desiree Holder. Her account of the ordeal which lead to the death of her son, was different from that of Mr. Bobb Snr.
Ms. Holder said that her son left to attend the party in the village and she was later told that he was attacked inside the party by a group of men who circled him and robbed him of a 30 pennyweight gold chain which he had on at the time.
“I don’t know if it was five or four or three or whatever, they circle him, stabbed him up and I heard that he inflicted wounds on another boy and so he died and my son died” Ms. Desiree Holder told BIG Smith News Watch at her home, surrounded by family and friends who showed up to give their support.
Montrose’s body was found in a trech with stab wounds to the head. His mother, when asked to describe her son, said he was a very ‘cool, quiet and nice person who anyone could have called upon at anytime’
The incident at the party occurred sometime after 03:hrs on Sunday morning. The police are investigating the matter.
