Zion Hickerson receiving strong interest from Juventus & BVB
Ten-year-old football dynamo Zion Hickerson has caught the eyes of two prominent European football clubs, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund. Both clubs have offered the young talent spots in their youth academies in New York.
Hickerson, a member of the Vurlon Mills Football Academy impressed scouts during a recent tryout at the Juventus Academy on Randall’s Island and both clubs are eager to include him for the 2025/26 season.
However, with Hickerson set to write the National Grade Six Assessment in 2026, his family plans to delay his move to New York until the 2026/27 season, according to his father, Orin Hickerson.
Nevertheless, Hickerson will captain St. Gabriel’s Primary School football team in the upcoming Courts Optical Pee-Wee football competition set to kick off on Saturday at the Ministry of Education ground.
