Clarendon College Makes History: Secures Treble Triumph

In a nail-biting finish at the Ministry of Education Ground last evening, Clarendon College secured a historic treble in schoolboy football with a thrilling victory over St. Benedict’s College.

The finals lived up to expectations, showcasing Clarendon’s prowess after a dynamic start by the Trinidad outfit in the first 25 minutes.

However, the Jamaican unit’s class became evident with penetrative runs and crisp passing.

The 2-1 triumph for Clarendon College marked an extraordinary achievement, clinching the Dacosta Cup, Oliver Shield, and now the KFC Goodwill.

St. Benedict’s College, although falling short, displayed bright sparks and can remain optimistic about the future.

Their team showcased promise but seemed to lack an out-and-out forward. The historic win solidifies Clarendon College’s legacy in schoolboy football, leaving an indelible mark on the sports landscape.
