Sheriff Group opens state-of-the-art hospital at Leonora.

The Sheriff Group of Companies, today opened the doors to the new Sheriff General Hospital, a private healthcare facility, at Leonora Region Three.

 

In a grand opening ceremony, which saw the attendance of members of Government including President Dr Irfaan Ali, Government Ministers and dignitaries, members of the private sector and persons from the general public, the facility is now officially opened to the public to offer its many services.

CEO of Sheriff Security Services Ameir Ahmad, who is also the son of Mr Shareef Ahmad, the intellect behind the facility, in addressing the public noted that it is an emotional occasion to be a part of the opening of this hospital, as he is well aware of the humble beginnings his father has derived from.

 

Ahmad added that in 2017, the family started the business with a few small and up and coming ventures, including Sheriff Jewellery, Sheriff Medical, Italian Grill etc.

 

He assured that with the establishment of this new facility, the hospital will not fall short of quality services as the aim is always to exhibit innovation in every endeavour.

 

The Sheriff General Hospital is positioned to be dynamic in the healthcare industry in an effort to deploy quality healthcare in a safe environment Ahmad noted.

 

He guaranteed that the intention is to provide excellent standard healthcare, with a comfortable and friendly atmosphere, adding that the aim is for the facility is to be that of a 5-Star Hospital.

 

The entrepreneur also made mention of a new hospital opening in 2024.

 

Upon taking the stage briefly, CEO of the Sheriff Group of Companies Mr. Shareef Ahmad took the time to express gratitude to supportive family members and the construction team for finishing the project in record breaking time.

He said that this is a facility for the people and its intent is to change the way healthcare is provided by offering a comprehensive medical field.

 

The senior Ahmad also noted plans to construct similar projects in other regions of the country.
