
September 23, 2024— Onecia Warrick, 24, and Maryann Allicock, 32, both of Stevedore Housing Scheme, were charged today with “Attempt to Commit Murder” in connection with the September 1, 2024 attack on Randell Dowding, a 36-year-old food vendor from North Ruimveldt.
The two women, arrested on September 19, appeared before Magistrate Faith McGusty at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court, where they pleaded not guilty. They were each granted bail of $150,000, and the case was adjourned until October 16, 2024.
In a related development, Randell Dowding was also charged today with “Unlawful Wounding” and “Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm” against Warrick and Allicock on the same date.
He appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court, pleaded not guilty, and was granted bail totaling $85,000 for both charges. His case will continue on October 14, 2024.
The charges stem from an altercation between the parties earlier this month, with both sides now facing legal proceedings.
