Tuschen woman found dead at home with suspected stab wounds

A 45-year-old woman was found dead at her Phase One, Tuschen Housing Scheme home on Monday afternoon, with reports indicating that she may have sustained stab wounds.
The deceased has been identified as Sonia Wilson, a mother of one who reportedly worked as a cook at an interior mining camp.
Wilson’s body was discovered on the veranda of her home at about 3:00 p.m. Relatives and persons in the area reportedly found her lying motionless and alerted the authorities.
Residents said Wilson was last seen and spoken to at around 10:00 a.m.
According to reports circulating in the community, a man who sells household items had visited Wilson’s residence to follow up on payment for items she had reportedly taken. He reportedly discovered her on the veranda and alerted nearby residents.
Police subsequently arrived at the scene and commenced investigations.
The circumstances surrounding Wilson’s death remain unclear, and investigators are working to determine what transpired.
