Teacher Charged with Drug Trafficking
Psyiffia Boodram , a 24-year-old teacher from Lot 4 Public Road, Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was arrested on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, on charges of possessing narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
Boodram appeared before Principal Magistrate Ms. Leron Daly in Georgetown Magistrate’s Court Two on Friday, May 31, 2024.
She pleaded not guilty to the charge and was subsequently remanded to prison.
Her next court appearance is scheduled for June 21, 2024.
