23-Year-Old Dies in Motorcycle Accident on Leguan Island

A tragic motorcycle accident on the Enterprise public road early this morning resulted in the death of 23-year-old Vickash Singh. The incident occurred at approximately 03:20 hrs.

 

Singh, a resident of Leguan, was riding his motorcycle (Registration #CK 2275) at the time of the accident. According to police reports, Singh was traveling south along the eastern side of the road at a high speed when he lost control of the vehicle. Singh, who was not wearing a safety helmet, collided with a GPL pole on the western parapet of the road.

 

The impact of the collision caused severe head injuries and other trauma. Singh was found unconscious and transported to the Leguan Cottage Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

 

His body has been taken to the Leguan Hospital’s Mortuary, where a post-mortem examination will be conducted.

 

Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
