Missing: Chandraboha Yalasari

By: Royan Abrams

Detectives along with relatives of 69 year old Chandraboha Ishmael of Yalasari South Black Bush Polder, Corentyne Berbice have launched a massive search for him after he vanished following a misunderstanding with a neighbor.

BIG Smith Crime Watch was told that the elderly man and neighbor had the misunderstanding and the following day, the pensioner was nowhere to be seen.

Police have received information that on Wednesday last, Ishmael and his neighbor got involved in an argument which saw the neighbor reportedly telling the elder man “you only have five years more to live on the property’.

BIG Smith Crime Watch was told that on Thursday the missing man, his son and wife retired to bed but on the following day when the wife and son woke up, they did not notice Ishmael in the home.

Sarswattie Ishmael and other relatives explained that the man was seen in the 52-55 Savannah on the Corentyne Berbice. That area is usually used by persons to camp out in an effort to keep an eye on their livestock and crops.

A missing person report has since been made with the police and anyone who sees the man is asked to contact the police or his relatives of telephone number 615-1050 or 337 2285.
