Suspects arrested for father and daughter murder

Police detective from ‘A’ and ‘C’ Division have made headways in the murder investigation of Aaron Latchman and his 17 year old daughter Ariana Latchman who was shot dead on Friday last. Two suspects have since been arrested.
A senior police source indicated that the killing was indeed that of a robbery and that this was confirmed by the two suspects who are in custody.
A vehicle belonging to one of the suspects was also confiscated by the police who managed to recover one firearm which will be sent for ballistic testing to ascertain if that weapon was one used during the robbery murder of the father and daughter.
One police source indicated this morning that the suspects have since implicated another person in the murder and the police are looking to make contact with that individual to ascertain what role he played, if any at all, in the crime.
Last week Friday, the father and daughter were killed as they were making their way into their home after exiting the vehicle at their Better home premises.
The men who reportedly trailed them from Georgetown pounced on them and demanded cash and other valuables which they had on their person at the time and Latchman put up a resistance and was shot and killed while his daughter reportedly had three bullets pumped into her.
