A 22-year-old labourer from St. Ignatius Village, Central Rupununi, has been sentenced to six months’ imprisonment after pleading guilty to an assault charge.

Teles Forde appeared before Magistrate Omadatt Chandan at the Lethem Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
