Soldier among two arrested for robbery.
Michael Cumberbatch , a 28 year old Soldier who was stationed at the Timheri Base, and Akeem Bourne 28 has been arrested by the police in relation to a robbery at South Ruimveldt at approximately 02:20 hours this morning.
Information reaching the BIG Smith News watch indicated that the police, acting on information, approached the men fitting the description, after a reported robbery at Riverview Ruimveldt.
Cell phones recovered.
The men were apprehended at Norton Street Georgetown after allegedly robbing persons of their cell phones, which have been recovered.
The suspects were identified by the victims as the perpetrators and the motorcycle used in the escape was also taken into custody.
