“Shoulders” Charged with Break-In at Home Affairs Ministry and Four Other Locations

A 48-year-old man with no fixed address has been charged in connection with five break-ins allegedly committed on Monday, December 8, 2025, including one at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

 

Neil Madas, also known as “Shoulders,” appeared before Her Worship Faith McGusty at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, December 10.

 

He was read five counts of Break and Enter and Larceny, relating to incidents at the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre, and three private individuals.

 

Madas pleaded guilty to all charges. He was remanded to prison pending sentencing.

 

The cases have been adjourned to January 7, 2026.
