POLICE PROBING DEATH OF BOAT OPERATOR

Junior Benjamin a boat captain is now dead and the police are looking to ascertain if his death was a result of a drowning or there was foul play involved.

The man who is said to be from Fair View Kurupakari met his demise sometime on Monday, January 21. The area where the incident took place is a far distance from where the police are based, according to our sources.

It is unclear at this point if the police have a body or that needs to be located. We were however informed that the incident took place at Levi Falls in the Essequibo River.

The story is a developing one and will be updated, once the information becomes available. Police detectives have been dispatched to the location to commence their work
