In preparation for the event, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Administration) and Chairman of the Guyana Police Force Cricket Team, Mr. R. Budhram, officially presented the players with complete cricket kits.
The presentation was made during a meeting that also included Head Coach of the Guyana National Cricket Team, Mr. Ryan Hercules.

Their selection to compete at the regional level highlights the Force’s commitment to nurturing talent and promoting excellence in sports.
Coach Hercules, who has led the Guyana National Team to several titles, including the Regional Four-Day Championship and multiple wins with the Guyana Harpy Eagles, has also played a key role in shaping the athletes through the Guyana Police Sports Club.
