Sargeant Afena Martin of the Den Amstel Police Station distributed several hampers to residents in Den Amstel and Windsor Forest West Coast Demerara.

She noted that she has lived in the area since childhood and has special admiration for many of the villagers, including Den Amstel’s eldest resident 96-year-old Winifred Charles.

Sargeant Martin claims her inspiration came from her late grandmother Jean Martin, who would often advise her to give to persons, especially at this time of year.

” It’s not your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.”” – Sargeant Afena Martin.
