In a bid to reduce flooding in Lethem Township, the Ministry of Agriculture, through the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA), has teamed up with the Regional Democratic Council of Region 9 and the Lethem Town Council to carry out a dredging operation on Tabatinga Creek.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, this ongoing project is expected to significantly benefit local crop and livestock farmers, as well as residents, by alleviating the recurring flooding that has long plagued the area.

The collaborative effort underscores the government’s commitment to safeguarding agricultural productivity and improving living conditions in the region.
