Minister of Natural Resources meets with rangers to discuss fire control
Minister of Natural Resources, Vickram Bharrat, accompanied by a team from the Ministry and the Guyana Forestry Commission, visited Bissaruni, Region 10 over the weekend, to meet with the forest rangers who are working actively to control the current forest fires taking place in the area.
The rangers have collaborated with stakeholders, police officers and fire service workers, in an effort to contain the fire and will continue to monitor the situation. (Ministry of Natural Resources)
