“May we all be imbued with a sense of renewal and enthusiasm”- PPP in New Year’s message

Please see full statement below:

The  People’s  Progressive  Party  (PPP)  joins  with  all  others  in  extending  best  wishes  to  our Guyanese brothers and sisters here at home and in the Diaspora, for a peaceful, prosperous, and productive 2022.

The  dawn  of  a  New  Year  offers  an  opportune  moment  for  reflection  on  successes  and  failures,  an assessment of strengths and weaknesses,  the charting of relevant  courses  for personal advancement, and the move forward for the collective prosperity as a nation.

While 2021 was challenging, as Guyana and the World at large grapples with the effects brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, our country is poised for exciting times ahead, as we work towards rebuilding our economy, moving our country forward in new frontiers of development, and creating opportunities for all.

In the face of whatever challenges may confront us in the coming year, our Party remains confident in the resoluteness and strength of all Guyanese and in our collective will to mitigate them.

May we all be imbued with a sense of renewal and enthusiasm as we work assiduously to strengthen bonds of togetherness to aid in the realization of the fundamental value of our national motto and to engage in a renewal of ideas for the attainment of success.

Once again best wishes for a joyous New Year!
