Police are investigating allegations made by a security guard that a man exited a vehicle, walked up to him with what appears to be a gun, and questioned him about the whereabouts of his employer.
Deputy Commander Simon McBean, who spoke with BIG Smith News Watch, stated that the matter reportedly took place on Sheriff Street on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
Elton Barrington, the chief security officer for Sheriff Security, made an official police complaint against Christopher Lee, a former employee of the security service, on the same day.
According to Deputy Commissioner McBean, the police regional Division 4A sent a message to Regional Police Division 4C, where Lee lives, inviting him to visit the station.
Lee showed up at the Kitty Police Station on Friday, March 21, 2025, in the company of his Attorney at Law.
The police detective confronted the two men, after which Lee was placed on $50,000 station bail.
Deputy Commissioner McBean indicated that the police will be continuing their investigations into the matter, including scouting for any evidence that can confirm that a firearm was used during the alleged interaction between Lee and Barrington.
Christopher Lee is also the same man who is being accused of stealing more than two million dollars from Sheriff Security while he was employed there sometime back.
A video that has surfaced also shows Lee speaking into a camera where he reportedly confesses to the theft.
Lee recently accused the owner of Sheriff Security of stripping and beating him for the stolen money, which he said he was accused of stealing.
