Madewini Police Cracks Down on Motorcycle Violations

A targeted motorcycle exercise conducted by ranks of the Madewini Police Outpost earlier today resulted in six traffic offences being recorded in the #3 Sub-Division, Timehri, East Bank Demerara.
The operation took place between 11:40 hrs and 12:50 hrs.
The exercise led by Inspector Scott, Sergeant John, Lance Corporal Dutchin, and two other ranks from the Traffic Department.
During the exercise, the following traffic violations were identified:
• Honjue motorcycle (CE 9174) – Breach of conditions of provisional driver’s licence.
• Cyclone 150 (CM 8309) – Breach of conditions of provisional driver’s licence.
• Honda CG (CJ 8531) – Breach of conditions of provisional driver’s licence.
• Cyclone 150 (CM 8389) – No left-side reflecting mirror.
• Honda CG (CJ 8531) – No reflecting mirrors.
• Honda CG (CM 1544) – No reflecting mirror.
In total, six tickets were issued for various breaches of traffic regulations.
The operation forms part of ongoing efforts by the Guyana Police Force to enhance road safety and ensure compliance among motorcyclists.
