Little stars, BIG dreams at Juliet Griffith Mashramani float parade

Colour, creativity and big dreams filled the streets as the Juliet Griffith Day Care Centre staged its lively Career-Themed Mashramani Float Parade, delighting onlookers with music, movement and youthful enthusiasm.

The much-anticipated parade transformed the route into a festive showcase, with children proudly donning imaginative costumes that reflected a wide range of career aspirations.

From start to finish, the event radiated joy as families, staff and spectators cheered on the young participants.

Assistant Superintendent Donette Phoenix, Manager of all four centres, said the initiative was crafted to spark creativity, teamwork and self-confidence among the children, while highlighting the vital role of early childhood education in shaping future success.

Adding to the excitement, Clifton Hicken, Commissioner of Police, and Ravindradat Budhram, Deputy Commissioner (Administration), joined parents and educators in celebrating the colourful display and applauding the centre’s commitment to holistic child development.

The parade stood as a joyful reminder of Mashramani’s spirit—celebrating culture, creativity and community—while inspiring children to dream big and believe in their potential.
