Jail for man caught on camera robbing school children

Orin Favorite called ‘Solo’ was on Monday morning sent to jail on remand when he appeared before a city magistrate charged for robbery.

The 35 year old was arrested and charged following an investigation into the robbery of a school child while she and others were standing on an avenue in a school zone.

Favorite was arrested on March 02,2022 and charged with robbing a 13-Year-old Bishops High-school student  Divya Narine on January 20,2022.

The 35 year old robbed the 13 year old student of a Samsung Galaxy A71 cellular phone valued One Hundred Thousand Dollars Guyana Currency (Gy$100,000).

Favorite is expected to return to court on April 11, 2022.
