RE: Harassment by Customs Officer at CJIA’s Immigration
Georgetown, Thursday, April 11, 2019: The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) takes note
of the letter by Mr. Delon White published in the Kaieteur News on Thursday, April 11,
2019.

The allegation of verbal abuse by a Customs Officer is currently being investigated and steps
taken to address any shortcomings thereby minimizing such recurrences in the future.

Upon completion of the investigation, the results will be fully ventilated by a further release.
