DAUGHTER ADMITS KILLING HER MOM AFTER RETURNING FROM CHURCH

The police in Berbice have been able to secure a confession statement from 43 year old Kamela Jameer during an interview late Saturday afternoon where she confessed to killing her mother.

The BIG Smith Crime Watch was reliably informed that the told detectives that went she went home from church on Friday evening, she murdered her mother, 71 year old Rookmin Jameer.

According to information coming out of Berbice, the woman admitted that her mother was accusing her of stealing a sum of money from her which she accepted through remittance from a sister overseas.

The daughter said that the accusing and arguments relating to the money continued on Friday when she returned from church and she picked up a chopper which was on the kitchen counter and slashed her mother’s throat.

The woman also took the police back to the murder scene and also provided them with the murder weapon.

Kamela and her reputed husband were picked up on Friday evening after they were said to be the last persons to have seen the elderly woman alive. The reputed husband of the suspect said that he left the house earlier in the day leaving the woman and her daughter alone at home.

The daughter told detectives that she left later in the day and went to church and when she returned she found her mother’s throat slit and lying in a pool of blood.
