The individuals’ commitment to the two separate agencies will see monetary support going to the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Health for a three-year period.

The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company in a statement announced that it will be donating GYD $150,000,000 (One Hundred and Fifty Million) to the Cricket Carnival for three years, Digicel Guyana for it’s part donated GYD $60,000,000 (sixty Million) to the Ministry of Health to assist persons with disabilities.

GT&T said for the Cricket Carnival, it will be offering free sim cards to incoming passengers at the CJIA. Those cards will be preloaded with credit to facilitate immediate use.

Digicel Guyana will be supporting the Ministry of Healthโ€™s Special Needs Project. The company said the long-term vision is to see the creation of world-class development facilities for children with special needs across the regions of Guyana.
