Dumped body of 88-Y-O found wrapped in bed sheet, grandson detained

The body of an 88 Year Old former vendor was this morning found wrapped in a bed sheet and dumped among some bushes across the road from her Russel Street, Georgetown home.

Her name was given as Pasty Bovell. Her niece who spoke with BIG Smith News Watch said the woman was a mother of three who has one daughter alive over seas while her husband and two two children have passed.

Her niece said a few days ago they were unable to make contact with Ms. Bovell and decided to make a police report.

Following the police report, the woman’s grandson with whom she lived was arrested and remained in custody.

While in custody, the young man told the police he took his grandmother to the hospital.

However when the police made heir checks, they found no evidence that the woman was ever taken to a hospital.

The man was further questioned.

Today the dead woman’s niece told BIG Smith News Watch that they decided go to the area where she lived lived and in searching an empty lot, a bloodied, swollen finger was seen protruding from a sheet.

The family members immediately retreated from the area and called the police detectives.

The detectives are presently on the scene conducting their investigations under the watchful eyes of curious onlookers.
