Statement from the Guyana Police Force

The Guyana Police Force wishes to condemn the dangerous and mischievous attempts by Richard Millington, Director of Communications for the Caribbean Guyana Institute for Democracy (CGID), to mislead the Guyanese public via a statement on social media, in which he alluded to so-called ‘reliable sources’ in the GPF.

The Guyana Police Force will stick to its mandate of Service and Protection and is urging persons to desist from making wild and unsubstantiated claims on social and other media. The GPF is also encouraging persons to continue to support the work of the Force, currently celebrating its 184th anniversary.
