In honor of The Guyana Police Force 184th Anniversary Celebrations and the need for improved fitness and healthy lifestyle among members of the Guyana Police Force and Stakeholders, on Sunday 16th July 2023, between 06:00 and 07:00 hours, Ranks from the Regional Police Division 4C, Joint Services, and Stakeholders completed a Fitness Walk this morning, led by Assistant Commissioner Khali Pareshram, Commander 4’C’, in honor of the Force’s 184th Anniversary Celebration.

The Fitness Walk commenced from Happy Acres East Coast Demerara and concluded at the Goedverwagting Public Road East Coast Demerara.

The walk was attended by Police ranks, members of the Joint Services, Station Management Committee, Cop and Faith, Regional Road Safety Council, Community Policing Groups, Youth Groups, and other Stakeholders.

Sergeant Austin culminated the walk with stretches and breathing techniques to avoid cramps and pull-ups.

Commander Pareshram encouraged the ranks and stakeholders to keep the camaraderie with one another, since it showed strength and unity, and to always show care and concern for each other.

The Commander then thanked all for coming out to the Division’s fitness walk and reminded the gathering that the walk will be a monthly exercise.

He also encouraged them to continue to stay active and fit whether by walking, running, or making healthy choices daily.

Present were Commander Pareshram, Senior Superintendent Wray, Senior Superintendent Sawh and other senior and junior officers, and other Stakeholders.
