Gold Miner Remanded on Narcotics Trafficking Charges

A 43- Y-O gold miner, Colin Hubert Coddette of Lot 158 Perseverance Housing Scheme, Providence, East Bank Demerara, was arrested on October 19, 2025, and subsequently charged with two counts of Possession of Narcotics for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Coddette appeared before Magistrate O. Chandan at the Lethem Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, where the charges were read to him.
He entered a plea of not guilty.
Bail was refused, and Coddette was remanded to prison pending trial. The matter has been adjourned to November 27, 2025.
